This privacy policy at www.stl.systems applies to the entire website including all other services.
The Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) applies. Specific reference is made to any additional applicable law from the European Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).

When visiting the website
When you visit our website, information is temporarily stored in so-called log files on our server. This is information that the browser of your terminal device automatically sends. Namely:
- IP address of the contacting device
- Date and time
- URL of the called page
- referrer URL

- Data required for transmission security, troubleshooting and improvements.

The above data is processed by us for the following purposes:

If you contact us or conclude a contract with us

If you conclude a contract with us, the following data will be collected:
- Name, first name, address, date of birth, mobile number.

We use external service providers (order processors), e.g. for web hosting. A separate order data processing agreement has been concluded with the relevant service providers to ensure the protection of your personal data. Furthermore, it may be necessary to send the data to the following categories of recipients:

4. for the processing of contracts

As far as this is legally permissible according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b DSGVO and necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you, your personal data will be passed on to third parties. This includes in particular the disclosure to shipping companies for the purpose of delivery of the goods ordered by you and the disclosure of payment data to payment service providers or credit institutions to carry out a payment transaction. We use cookies (session cookies as well as temporary and permanent cookies) on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your terminal device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. 6. analysis tools

Google Analytics
Our website uses the web analysis service Google Analytics from Google Inc, USA. Google Analytics uses cookies (see under Cookies).
These enable an analysis of the use of our website offer incl. IP addresses by Google in the USA. We would like to point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" to ensure anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). If anonymization is active, Google truncates IP addresses within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, which is why no conclusions can be drawn about your identity. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google uses the information collected to evaluate the use of our websites for us, to compile reports for us in this regard and to provide other related services to us. 7. social media plug-in

We use the social plug-ins below on our website in order to make our company better known via them. The underlying promotional purpose is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The responsibility for data protection-compliant operation is to be ensured by their respective providers. Data processing in connection with these plug-ins takes place with your consent when you use them.
If you use the services of these social networks independently of or in connection with our website, the social networks evaluate your use of the plug-in.
In this case, information about the plug-in is forwarded to the social networks.
Embedding Youtube videos
We implement on our Internet pages (videos) of the video portal "YouTube" of the company Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter: "Google"). The implementation is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, whereby our interest lies in the smooth integration of the videos and the thus appealing design of our website.
Here we use the option of the extended data protection mode provided by Google. When you visit a page that has an embedded video, a connection to Google's servers is established and the content is displayed on the website by informing your browser.
According to Google's information, in extended data protection mode your data - in particular which of our Internet pages you have visited as well as device-specific information including the IP address - is only transmitted to the YouTube server in the USA when you watch the video. By clicking on the video, you consent to this transmission.
If you are logged in to Google at the same time, this information will be assigned to your YouTube member account. You can prevent this by logging out of your member account before visiting our website.
In some cases, information is transmitted to the parent company Google Inc. based in the USA, to other Google companies and to external partners of Google, each of which may be located outside the European Union. Google uses standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission for this purpose and relies on the adequacy decisions issued by the European Commission regarding certain countries.

Google Maps
Google Maps services are used on our website (e.g. in-screen or via interfaces/API). Google LLC, USA, may therefore process information about your actual location. Google uses various technologies such as IP addresses, GPS and other sensors to determine your location, which provide Google with information about nearby devices, WLAN access points or mobile phone masts, for example.

Fathom Analytics
We use Fathom Analytics, a website analytics software program, for our website. The service provider is the Canadian company Conva Ventures Inv., BOX 37058 Millstream PO, Victoria, British Columbia, V9B 0E8, Canada.
Your data may also be processed in Canada and therefore outside the scope of the GDPR. The European Commission has decided that an adequate level of protection exists for commercial offers from Canada in accordance with Art. 45(1). This means that the transfer of data to this country is permissible.

Newsletter
With the registration for the newsletter and the confirmation to receive the newsletter (double opt-in), the following personal data will be processed: Name, first name, e-mail address. The data is processed for the purpose of authenticating the subscriber at registration and delivering a newsletter to the subscriber, determining whether and when he/she has opened it and individual articles on it.
The data entered by you for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be processed by our provider. The processing of this data is based exclusively on your consent. You can revoke this consent at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The data processing operations that have already taken place remain unaffected by the revocation. When we send newsletters with the help of our provider, we can determine whether a newsletter has been opened and which links have been clicked.

8. place of processing

We store and process your personal data primarily in Switzerland and the EU. However, we may also transfer your personal data to recipients in countries outside of Switzerland or the EU.

9. cross-border disclosure to third countries without an adequate level of data protection

We make data transfers to such countries based on standard contractual clauses or legal exceptions. Insofar as data transfers are made to a recipient outside the EEA, an adequate level of data protection for the foreign transfer is ensured by appropriate security measures. You have the right to:  

-Request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data if it has not been collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and, if applicable, meaningful information about its details (Article 15 DSGVO). In case of a disproportionate effort, we reserve the right to request an identification card from you as well as the assumption of the effective costs in advance.
-Request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data stored by us without delay (Art. 16 DSGVO).
-to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transfer to another controller (Art. 20 DSGVO).
-to revoke your consent once given to us at any time. This has the consequence that we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent in the future (Art. 7 (3) DSGVO).
-Complain to a supervisory authority (see below) (Art. 77 DSGVO).

11. right of objection

Insofar as your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 DSGVO, insofar as there are grounds for doing so that arise from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which will be implemented by us without specifying a particular situation.

DISCLAIMER

1. Storage of access data
Every access to a webpage ofSTL Systems AG causes a storage of the access data in a logfile on our server. These logfiles contain:

  • Hostname
  • Referrer-URL
  • Date and time of access
  • Data volume transferred
  • Type/version of web browser used

The stored data is used only for statistical purposes, a disclosure to third parties does not take place, neither for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
Within our website there is the possibility of entering personal data (e-mail, name, address); the input of these data is voluntarily. Again the information will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties. Furthermore, no link to the access data mentioned above takes place. Every user has the right to receive free information about the personal data stored about him at the request. In addition, every user has in accordance with the legal provisions a right to correction , blocking and deletion of personal data .


2. Cookies
As part of the log in process of registered users, so-called session cookies are required. Reason for that is a single-sign-on concept which allows a higher usability during authentication and the subsequent access to the various areas of the site. Moreover, another cookie containing your login information (user name, user rights and the validity of the session) is stored for access control.

3. AWStats
In order to evaluate our online content statistically, we use the program AWStats. This free web analytics software is used for the analysis of logfiles (see paragraph 1). A compilation of this data with other data sources does not take place, the data will be deleted after a statistical analysis.
AWStats does not use cookie files for evaluation. Moreover, AWStats does not transmit data to external servers, as the program is installed on our own hosting package. A transfer of data abroad thus will also not take place, since our server is located in Germany.


4. Links to other websites
Within our online content there are links to other websites. We have no influence on whether the operators of other websites comply with data protection regulations. The STL Systems AG is responsible for its own content according to general laws. For external information provided through links, the STL Systems AG does not accept any responsibility. For illegal, incorrect or incomplete content and for damage arising from the use or non-use of the information, only the provider of the site is liable. For external information the editor is only responsible if it has positive knowledge of any illegal or criminal content, and if it is technically possible and reasonable to prevent their use.
